I was thinking...

It is very important in life to have someone with whom you can have the most random conversations.

What the moon is looking like on a particular night, or what makes the gol gappas in one shop better than the other.

What you think the ideal age to die is, or how incredible Omar Abdullah's speech in parliament was.

Someone you can sms in the middle of the night simply because you need your phone balance to be a round number.

It's good to have people with whom you can have such conversations.

Very true. And I suppose they're the best kind of friends too... or perhaps the only real kind. If you can only talk to someone about one or two topics and they tend to give you strange disgusted looks because they think you're being silly, then they're not worth your time.

I agree. Especially when you can jump from one topic of conversation to another where to some other it may seem as though there is no order; but you know better.

this is such a sweet post! and ya i agree that 'this' is what true friendship is...a kind of relationship where spoken words need not be relevant or even coherent.
