It suddenly struck me that this blog turned two last month. Which means I've been a blogger for more than three years.
But as I read my old posts, both here and in the private blog I had for a year before that, I wonder if there's any growth or, for lack of a better word, maturity that comes across in my writings. Because I don't see it. I still seem to be as opinionated, obnoxious and self-obsessed as I was three years ago.
And if so, and if I've just stagnated since I began blogging, then that's just a pity.
What do you think?

On another note, Max New York Life Insurance has come up with a fabulous ad. Even if you don't listen or understand to the background song, you still get the gist of it, so enjoy:
Incidentally, has anyone ever read that short story by Jeffrey Archer, The Grass is Always Greener?!?

I must do a search in your blog for the number of times you use the word 'incidentally'. That and 'utter(ly)'
You call that a comment? You seriously call that a comment?
I know I've started using "seriously" a lot ever since I read that everyone on Grey's Anatomy says it because one of the writers says it a lot...!
Also:
1) happy... anniversary?
2) I dunno
3) nope
4) hah! That ad made me grin out loud :D :D
haw, how mean you are :( I take back my happy anniversary :(
well, that one's better na.
also, isn't the order of your points 3 and 4 mixed up?
Also, you're the one person who should be able to answer that question because you're the only one who's been reading my blog(s) since the beginning. I don't see anyone else going through all my posts to give me an informed opinion, do you?
oh oops. Yes they are. That ad is still really cool :D
Hmmm okay - then I'll just say that I can't see much of a change. You use 'utterly' and 'incidentally' just as much as before :)
PS: maybe they should! You know how people can't tell you've grown taller or put on weight if they see you all the time? They have to see you after a long period of absence to notice any change. Same logic
Happy anniversary. I can't really tell if there's been a development or not, but I do think you come across as quite mature... but what would be the point of sounding all grown-up and mature anyway? That just makes things boring.
And I keep coming across that story but I've yet to read it.
